A very popular grind and power favorite for many engine builders of hopped up modified engines with added compression and a great bolt in choice for higher compression 103 Twin Cooled Models. The RS575 is a great cam if you need a bolt-in now, with serious plans on upgrading for more compression or increased flow in the near future.

This cam is most impressive when used with high flowing heads in a compression range of 10.2-10.8:1 compression, yielding a superior balanced torque and horsepower curve. This is one of the most powerful mid lift cams on the market for a Twin Cam® engine.

The RS575 develops a good balanced power curve with “severe” acceleration. The proprietary profile design ensures maximum valve train acceleration, which gives the rider a very free-revving experience that begs for more throttle.

  • Chain drive- Use Red Shift Cams® Dual Piston Cam Chain Tensioners (#413-901) for improved cam chest component reliability, maximum throttle response and reduced valve train noise.
  • Use 07- Up part number for 2006 FXD engines
  • We recommend new cam bearings and performance tappets with any cam change.
