Zipper’s Performance Products offers S&S carbs “box stock” as delivered from S&S, or specially modified with the popular and highly recommended ThunderJet™ 3rd fuel circuit and an external adjustable main circuit air bleed. The ThunderJet™ makes the best carb even better, permitting a wider, smoother fuel curve by adding an additional ‘high-speed’ fuel circuit. Why? Simply put, more circuits means more tune-ability; this is very important when tuning for max-power with today’s various cam, lifter, piston and exhaust pipe combinations. Whether it’s more adjustability and power you want for your hot rod or improved E.T. & M.P.H. for your racer, this is the hot set-up.

Super “G” Shorty Carb Kits: The Super ‘G’ carb is a 2-1/16” throat, butterfly type carb with a fully adjustable idle mixture crew, and changeable mid-range / high-speed jets. Additional features are an adjustable volume accelerator pump, high flow air cleaner and enrichment device with a variable position lever, and a tight, tucked-in profile for maximum leg room. Works great on high output engines and medium sized big-bore or stroked engines. ThunderJet-equipped models include an external, adjustable main air bleed and modified float bowl vent machining, with additional jets for the ThunderJet and air bleed.

All G carbs fitted to 1981 & later models (except ‘86-‘03 Sportsters®) accept factory throttle cables. Some 1979 & 1980 engines were equipped with o-ring heads – check before ordering. </font color>
