The D&D Fat Cat 2-into-1 exhaust system is an excellent choice for engines with performance modifications from stock to plus-25% displacement, delivering a torque curve that is high and wide, with a strong top-end pull. Excellent workmanship inside and out; broad power design really shows up on the dyno.

D&D’s philosophy is to trust their own R&D program, developing their product line to reflect what they learn during their countless hours of testing on the D&D dyno. But they didn’t stop after they made big power, they also built systems that are engineered to fit and look great! Inspect a D&D pipe, and you’ll find true craftsmanship—from the hand-ported inlets and collectors, hand-fit heat shields with machined and welded steel clamp brackets, heavy-duty mounting supports and flawless finishes, you’ll know you made the right choice for your Harley®.

All models are available in brilliant chrome or high-temperature black powder coat finish. Includes full-length header heat shields to ensure great looks over the long haul.

All Fat Cats for ’84-‘18 Softail® models include dual (12 and 18mm) oxygen sensor bungs.

Low Cat for Softails® has upswept muffler; improves ground clearance on lowered bikes. Will not work with factory Heritage Softail® Classic saddlebags, may be an issue with aftermarket bags.

See notes below regarding tuner system compatibility for 2012 and later applications

All Twin Cam® Softail® model 2-into-1 Fat Cats are equipped with oxygen sensor bungs. 1984-2011 systems include 18mm bungs, 2012-2015 are fitted with 12 mm bungs. Before ordering your exhaust for a 2012-2015 model, verify what tuner you will be using. In 2012, H-D® changed the size (from 18mm to 12mm) and location of the narrow-band oxygen sensors the factory ECM uses. The fitment of the exhaust system to the bike did not change, meaning it is possible to install a 1984-2011 exhaust system with 18mm sensor ports on a 2012-2015 model, allowing the installation of tuners such as ThunderMax® that use smart-technology 18mm wide-band oxygen sensors to be installed without any exhaust modifications. If in doubt about which system to order, contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

• Fat Cats for FLSTC models have an extended muffler body (6″) to allow exhaust gasses to exit beyond the saddlebags (these systems can also be fitted to other Softail® models equpped with saddlebags, or if a longer pipe is desired).
• The Fat Cats on this page will not fit on Rocker® models or 2009 CVO Softail® Springer® models equipped with “ribbed” oil tanks (see D&D Low Cat exhaust page for these applications).

Louvered Baffle – Original baffle design, louvered and unwrapped to provide higher flow. Louder exhaust note and good balance of torque and horsepower.
Big Bore Baffle – High flow perforated, big bore design. Loudest exhaust note and most flow. Designed for the rider with extensive performance modifications who wants maximum high rpm output.
