We’ve taken the hassle of converting your late model belt driven H-D® to chain drive. Whether you’re interested in a different final drive ratio, added driveline strength or more clearance for a wider tire, these kits will make your life easier. Kits are available with durable, high wearing RK Pro O-Ring chains (best for street use) or RK’s brutally strong, non-o-ring DR (Drag Race) chain.

SOFTAIL® 5 SPEED (’86-’06): Choose between 21-24 teeth on the transmission sprocket; on the rear 46-65 (aluminum), 46-49 & 51 (chrome steel*) and 46-56 (black or silver steel). Suggested ranges: 23/24 front, 48-52 rear. Sizes outside of these ranges may require modifications for proper clearance. *Kits for 2006 FXST models with 200mm rear tire are only available with aluminum rear sprockets

Street O-Ring Kits – Front sprockets are steel, rear are made from your choice of lightweight, extremely tough 7075-T6 aircraft quality aluminum, or steel in black and silver zinc or chrome finish.
New! Optional chain finishes! We now offer our O-Ring Street Chains in standard metallic finish or with the link plates finished in black or gold for a true finishing touch. Please select the desired finish when ordering.

Drag Race Kits – Front sprockets are steel, rear are made from lightweight, extremely tough 7075-T6 aircraft quality aluminum. RK Drag Race chain included in standard metallic finish.

Simply identify your motorcycle type and year group, what style of chain you wish to run, and what sprockets you’ve chosen and we’ll supply you with everything you’ll need for the conversion. Contact us to recommend what final drive ratio will work best for you, or choose your own (note: extremely small or large sprockets may require swing arm or frame modifications for clearance). 120 link chains are supplied, which must be shortened to fit.

    Truly on I bought this kit for a Santee framed custom. Unsure of which configuration I needed, I contacted customer service and they assembled the kit for me. I highly recommend this kit for anyone looking for a chain conversion. It was truly bolt on.

    Outstanding product! Installed chain drive conversion on my 07' Softail, super easy to install, great quality, not noisy like people say, gives a mean look to the bike. Intsant noticable hook up, not worried about it shreading teeth or snapping. Recommend this to people that check their air pressure on the regular, if you can check air pressure you can check tension. Lol

    Great kit, perfect fitment. Installed recently on a 01 softail deuce. Kit went together perfectly. Parts are high quality and everything lined up perfect. Exceptional product, highly recommend.

    Easy to install! The Chain Conversion Kit from Zipper's Performance is very good and easy to install, too! My bike rides the same, with lower rpms and higher MPH now. I still get rubber in first three gears, power is not affected at all either. I'll be doing more business with you guys!

    Great product. I picked this up for my 1995 Fatboy and I am so glad I went with Zippers kit. Everything bolted togther easy, lined up perfectly and runs staright as an arrow. Would reccomend this kit to anyone looking to go from belt to a chain final drive... Matt
