These heads receive our Stage I Performance Valve Job, 1.850” O.S. Valves, new guides and 7mm conical springs. The head gasket surface will be skim decked to assure a true/flat sealing surface. This is a high quality upgrade for a budget build! Combustion chambers are stock 78 to 83 cc.
Processing time
Once the cores arrive at Zipper’s they are unboxed, and inspected for shipping damage. Then we review your job order sheet and other related documentation. Job sheets that have not been finalized before your cores arrived will take additional time to sort thru before the job is put into production. Once finalized, the cores will be disassembled, serialized then move into production. Turn around (Process time) varies depending on the time of the season and how long it takes to get your job sheet finalized. Because of the dedicated skilled labor at Zippers and the vast amount of capital equipment we get the work completed with the highest standard of quality with one of the best turnaround time in the industry.

For our standard production heads Shop Time is approximately 15 business days (during peak season allow for additional time). The below options will require additional time to process:

The Stage 1.8 is a fully CNC Ported head designed for 95, 98, 103, or 107 engines. The 1.850” O.S. Valves, new guides and 7mm conical springs. The application allows use with OE piston with shallow valve pockets or engine builder looking for little extra low end response. The head gasket surface will be decked to assure a true/flat sealing surface. Combustion chamber volume is approximately 85-86.5 cc.

Zipper’s has developed these Stage III heads specifically for CVO 110 and 120R/ST engines to increase port velocity and the result is a huge power increase for these thirsty engines! This unique design delivers an awesome experience, with broad power for all types of riding. Installed on a 110 with Red Shift 657 cams, these heads put over 129 HP through the rear tire with a conservative 10.3:1 compression! Other high output applications are also available.

These are maximum output heads and are a good option Vs purchasing CVO castings with the added expense of porting. Combustion chambers are 92 cc.

You can also purchase heads outright (without supplying a core set). We will supply clean, reconditioned factory castings for your application - add part #517-015 to your order.International Customers – Import duties are not required when to shipping your castings for modification. Special low shipping rates are available for your cores; contact your sales representative for details.
Supply us with your piston volume and camshaft selection for final cc volume through decking. Remove heads from engine, wash off oil and ship to Zipper’s as-is. Improper cleaning methods can actually do more harm than good; we suggest you allow us to properly prepare your heads for modification. Extreme care is taken during our preparation process to preserve component finishes. The largest port we can machine into these O.E castings is what
you get with Stage 4. O.S. 2.00” Valves, Step Lock Guides, special valve seats,
5/16” valve springs allow up to .750” of cam lift. Max flow design for big
displacement engines with large airflow demand. The larger valves are completely
un-shrouded in the fully machined chambers. Combustion Chambers are 98 cc.
