I did the 525 red shift in a 2009 electra glide it does give more power but you will suffer less mpg I use to get 42-43 now its 35-36.

My sales person Steve recommended the 525 cam for my riding style, and man did he nail it. These cams were installed into a 2010 FLHTCU that had been rebuilt from ground up after putting over 148,000 miles on the original 96″ motor. I had thought seriously about going to a 103″ build or bigger but decided to go back with the stock 96″ configuration again simply because of the reliability. I put a lot of miles on touring in the past. These cams have transformed the machine into a lot of grunt right where you need it. We all like to see the high horsepower and torque numbers of other cams, but many do not benefit you unless you are riding at high rpm. I own and manage a repair shop of my own and have installed many other cams, but the 525 will be my favorite for a heavy touring bike, and others. Zipper’s statement saying these will make your machine lots more fun to ride nails it!
