Red Shift Cams® RS687 for Twin Cam®

This grind was developed for special application high output engines with significant compression and desire for a wider aggressive power curve from 3500 to 7000+ RPM.

Compare this cam with RS 727 to review TDC lift if your heads have tight valve to valve clearance. The RS687 cams requires professional set up including yet not limited to

• special valve springs
• Spring spacing-shimming
• racing tappets
• stiff custom pushrods
• Upgraded oil system

• Requires custom adjustable or cut to fit pushrods
• Available in chain & gear drive for Early and Late model engines
• Chain drive- Use Red Shift Cams® Dual Piston Cam Chain Tensioners (#413-901) for improved cam chest component reliability, maximum throttle response and reduced valve train noise.
• Use 07- Up part number for 2006 FXD engines
• New cam bearings and Race Only tappets required.
