Zipper’s strong ties to the racing community, has exposed us to many special processes which increase the durability of an engine. Thermal coating is one process we have used for decades for select engine customers.

If you are racing or operating engines in server duty environments (climates) thermal coatings is a  proven process to protect engine parts from server heat of an air cooled engine.  Thermal coating is widely used in NASCAR®, NHRA and many others forms of competition. The results for an air cooled H-D® engine are outstanding. Thermal coating can be added to any engine kit or complete engine build.

This process can be added to Zipper’s engine kit purchases, expect to add additional 3-4 weeks for thermal coating services to be complete
