New from Red Shift Cams® is the 468 bolt-in grind for 107, 114 and 117" Milwaukee-Eight® engines. The 468 delivers significant improvements in power and throttle response right where you ride. The Red Shift 468 is designed to compliment the 4-valve heads' high intake flow while its unique design overcomes the restrictive exhaust port for big gains in both torque and horsepower. The 468 provides instant acceleration below 2,000 RPM while pulling strong to 6,000 – really shining in the 2,000-4,000 RPM cruising range. Cranking compression is unchanged for easy starting, and proprietary Red Shift Cams® ramp design delivers quiet operation and long valvetrain life. Works well with the factory Touring header pipe as well as aftermarket racing exhaust systems.

This is THE Bolt-In Big Torque Cam for the Milwaukee-Eight® Engine!
We sell the Red Shift 468 cam in a complete Zip Kit that includes the cam, Torrington/Koyo® cam bearing, cam change gasket set, high quality S&S tappets and Quickee pushrods with covers that allow no rocker box disassembly and easy access for pushrod adjustments, at a 10% discount over the individual cost of all the included components – everything you need for a quick cam swap! Or you can purchase the 468 cam (includes full-compliments Torrington/Koyo bearing), gaskets and Quikee pushrod kit separately.

The Red Shift 472 is designed to work with factory valvetrain components, as well as modified heads with upgraded spring / valve combinations and porting. The Red Shift 472 is designed to be a mid-range to top-end cam, but its unique timing maintains low-end torque. The Red Shift 472 really shines in 114 inch and larger engines which are modified with slightly more compression and air demand. Designed to enhance the unique cylinder head layout of the Milwaukee-Eight® engine, the 472 is a great companion to the extremely successful 468 cam. The Oil Pressure Relief Valve is designed to limit the oil feed pressure at higher engine rpms, primarily to reduce excessive oil volume from being pumped to the top end. However, the factory-installed valve body does not have a concentric taper to seal on, and does not properly seal oil pressure when operating below the blow-off point (lower engine rpms). Baisley Performance’s Precision-Ground Oil Pressure Relief Valve has a concentric taper that is designed to seal the oil pressure below the blow-off point. This enhances and stabilizes the oil pressure at idle, and forces the oil to take the correct path to the critical areas of the engine; like the tappets, cam chain tensioners, piston cooling jets, and the top end.

There’s Power in These Pushrods! Admittedly, the weakest link in a Harley® performance engine is the valve train stiffness, or rather the lack of it. These high performance adjustable pushrods add much needed stiffness to the valve train.

Five speed Sportster® and Buell® engines require that you remove the cylinder heads and take off the one-piece pushrod covers to get to the pushrods, greatly complicating pushrod adjustments for tuning or maintenance when adjustable pushrods have been installed. These telescoping pushrod cover kits permit access to the pushrods without having to lift the heads. Pre-’04 XL and Buell XB kits include twin billet aluminum bases with special seals for the front and rear cylinders that replace the factory pushrod tube lower retainers. A full telescoping pushrod cover kit is included. The twin bases can be purchased separately if desired.
