527-HS: High-Torque design developed as a bolt-in cam for 96” to 110” O.E. engines. Delivers smooth and impressive Torque and Horsepower increases over the factory installed cams. Designed to get your motorcycle moving quicker in the areas you ride the most. Power starts at 2250 RPM, for use with OEM “Non-Adjustable” pushrods, or adjustable pushrods.

New Red Shift® 527 Cams deliver an impressive gain in Torque and Horsepower which occurs much sooner in the usable riding range when compared to most popular aftermarket cams. These new High Torque Series cams are designed to allow your Harley-Davidson® motorcycle to get moving quicker right in the areas you ride the most - in and around town or cruising on the highway!

Perfect for 103” and 110” engines, Red Shift® 527 Cams were developed to deliver immediate passing power in 6th gear. Just twist the throttle! Red Shift® 527 Cams provide immediate throttle response and acceleration just above 2,200 rpms at the turn of your wrist.

Red Shift® 527 Cams have a unique design feature which produces an extremely fast and turbulent inlet charge in the combustion chamber at low rpms. Inducing turbulence in the chamber as early as possible is part of the secret to the 527’s tremendous success. This equates to immediate throttle response and acceleration in RPMs lower than ever before possible on a factory stock Twin Cam® engine.

Mountains? Passengers? No Problem! Red Shift® 527 Cams are the perfect grind for your larger 103” or 110” Harley-Davidson® engine. These cams take a stock engine and turn it into an extremely fun to ride, quick to accelerate performance machine. These cams are the industry’s most powerful bolt-in cam for engines with unmodified heads. Plus, Red Shift® 527 cams can be used with either stock or adjustable pushrods. Forget the upshift-downshift hassle to get moving over a hill or through traffic, just twist the throttle and get power when you need it.

Recommended: Use with Red Shift® Dual Piston Cam Chain Tensioners (#413-901) for improved cam chest component reliability, maximum throttle response and reduced valve train noise.

Quality
Changed out my 255 cams and went with these. I also added the tensioners as suggested. Bike runs smoother, seems to run cooler, and makes about the same low end power while pulling stronger at 4500 rpms than the 255s. I have super stock heads by Baisley. 103 stock motor with the Thundermax. I would chose to run these again. No dyno chart. (Posted on 6/8/2015)
