The new Red Shift® 525 Cams deliver an impressive gain in HP, with a HUGE increase in early torque – right where you accelerate around town and cruising on the highway! Perfect for 96” and 103” 2007-Up Touring models, this cam was developed to deliver immediate passing power in 6th gear at any typical cruising speed. Red Shift® 525 cams provide immediate throttle response and acceleration at or below 2,000 rpms without detonation. This means your Harley® moves cleanly from 50 MPH and up, in 6th gear, without downshifting.

525-HS: Bolt-in cam for 96” and 103” Twin Cam® engines with stock, unmodified heads. Perfect for 96” and 103” 2007-Up Touring models, this cam was developed to deliver immediate passing power in 6th gear at any typical cruising speed. Can be used with stock or adjustable pushrods.

Recommended: Use with Red Shift® Dual Piston Cam Chain Tensioners for improved cam chest component reliability, maximum throttle response, and reduced valve train noise.

Red Shift® Performance Cams for 2007-Up* Twin Cam Engines
The stroked crankshaft in the 96” engine changes the dynamic from 2006 and earlier model 88” engines, making correct cam choice crucial to avoid engine damaging detonation with today’s fuel quality. Spring work required unless otherwise noted as a bolt-in cam. We recommend new cam bearings and performance tappets with any cam change. *These cams can also be used in 2006 FXD engines

Red Shift® 525 cams have a unique design feature which produces an extremely fast and turbulent inlet charge in the combustion chamber at low rpms. Inducing turbulence in the chamber as early as possible is the secret to the 525’s tremendous results. This equates to immediate throttle response and acceleration in RPMs, lower than ever before possible on a stock 2007-up Twin Cam® engine.

Mountains? Passengers? Heavy Trikes? No Problem! Red Shift® 525 cams are the perfect Touring model cams. These cams take a stock 96” or 103” engine and turn it into an extremely fun to ride, quick to accelerate performance machine.
